Macro on the wing…

So i’m still playing around with some additional macro photography, and below you will find the results. This series of images deals solely with the subject of winged insects, and while they may be common enough, I don’t believe there’s anything common about insects, I consider them to be one of the marvels of natures engineering.

I’ve cropped these images to ensure that the frame is filled with the subject, and ensured that each is to the same singular size (to maintain the symmetry), but otherwise I haven’t played with them at all.

If there are any entomologists out there that may be able to assist with indentifying and labelling these images it would be appreciated. Also as per my previous Easter time post if anyone has any hints, tips, or opinions on better ways to frame, focus, or finesse these sorts of images please feel free to comment also.
